Automotive Ghost Stories
Fright Shift is a narrative horror audio drama steeped in Americana—late-night highways, roadside landmarks, and the nostalgic, analog mood of a world before the digital age.
Season 1 is currently in production and will feature at least 10 episodes, each built around a short story with cinematic sound design and a grounded tone that keeps the paranormal uncomfortably close to real life—performed by a full cast of voice actors, a talented mix drawn from the Central PA / Harrisburg Metro region. Sound design, editing, and audio engineering are by Tim Moyer of Red Panda LLC, producer of Fright Shift. If you enjoy a blend of horror, suspense, old-time radio, and that classic Twilight Zone–style twist, you’ll feel right at home with these unique tales.
The stories are dynamic and eclectic, but they share a common spine: the paranormal (usually ghosts) told through an automotive lens—the vehicles we drive, the places we stop, and the strange encounters that happen between point A and “you were never meant to end up here.” Many stories in the series celebrate classic car culture. What’s constant is the feeling that the road remembers, and sometimes it follows you home.
