Red Panda LLC is casting two performers for our fall live audio drama, Fright Shift: Automotive Ghost Stories. These are non-union*, paid roles.

We perform in small family-friendly venues and pubs. Pop-up audio drama performances. Eager to engage audiences and have fun while telling automotive ghost stories.

Fright Shift short stories include dynamic range of characters. We are seeking voice actors to audition for female and male characters. Non-binary encouraged to apply as well.

Ideal candidates demonstrate range of character styles that are compatible with Americana noir vibe.

What’s Involved

• Performances:

  • October 9, 2025 – Hershey, PA

  • October 23, 2025 – Carlisle, PA

  • possibly more TBD, in Central PA region

• Rehearsals:

  • One virtual table read (late Sept/early Oct, ~2 hrs)

  • At least two in-person rehearsals, Carlisle (late Sep-early October)

• Commitment: Arrive on time for rehearsals, and 20 minutes before showtime on performance nights.

Compensation

• $65 per live performance/show

  • Payment issued within 7 days of each completed session. (Venmo preferred)

• $50 per in-person rehearsal (up to 2 hrs each)

• $20 for the virtual table read (up to 2 hrs)

Who We’re Looking For

• Performers with acting, theater or improv background/training

• Local to the Harrisburg/Hershey/Mechanicsburg/Camp Hill/Carlisle area
  (must provide own transportation)

• Strong vocal presence and ability to play multiple characters

• Professional, flexible, reliable, and collaborative - enjoys comedy and riffing

Expectations

This is more than just a gig — we’re building an experience for our audience. By joining, you agree to:

• Treat fellow performers and crew with professionalism and respect

• Willingness to be patient with novice actor. Tim Moyer is producer and will be performing alongside as fellow actor - you likely have more acting experience than Tim

• Keep scripts, drafts, and behind-the-scenes information confidential (including future dates/locations not yet announced)

• Uphold the reputation of Red Panda LLC before, during, and after the production

*Although Red Panda LLC does value actors unions, given scale and capacity of this production staff, at this time it is not feasible to adhere to the requirements of unions.
